“Because of the distance we are deliberately structuring the trips so that guests can add on extended trips including safaris and even the famous Blue Train.  But the exciting element is visiting Namaqualand which is on the Namibian border.   This is one of the world’s driest areas but when the rains fall in September the entire landscape is, for a few short weeks, a profusion of exotic flowers,” he says.

The Namaqualand visit is part of a busy schedule that may include private gardens on the world-famous Garden Route.  More details will be announced shortly.
